Blue Jay Elementary School will hold its second ‘annual’ art gala to support a charity that supports children. Students are preparing art in their classes and their work will be put on display in the gym. Parents (or others) can purchase their own child’s art for a small sum of money.
This year the money will go to BC Children’s Hospital. (Early this year, Blue Jay students brought in bottles, cans and small change and raised over $1,200 for BC Children’s Hospital). Last year’s art gala raised over $1,000 for Run for Water, an organization that helps supply clean and accessible drinking water to children in Ethiopia.
Admission is by donation, and the suggested purchase price for children’s art is $5.00
