UPDATE: 32-Yr-Old Arrested In Stabbing

The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department is continuing to investigate the August 29th stabbing. Seyed Milad Mirhosseini, a 32 year old Abbotsford man, has now been charged with Aggravated Assault.

APD investigators have identified over 30 witnesses but believe there could be more given the time and location where the incident took place.

Initial News Release of August 29:

This afternoon at 1:35 pm the Abbotsford Police were called to the 32700 block of George Ferguson Way where a man entered a business with a serious abdominal wound. Upon arrival police located a 49 year old man from Abbotsford who was bleeding from his stomach. He advised police that he had been involved in an altercation with a man in the parking lot and had been stabbed. The two parties involved knew each other and the other man fled prior to police arrival.

The injured man was transported to hospital via air ambulance. He was conscious and communicative with first responders.

Abbotsford Police officers located and arrested a 32 year old man in connection to the stabbing at 4:45 pm. The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department will be continuing the investigation.
