Respirators For Animals Fundraiser

By August 22, 2014Pets, Valley News

Fur A Better Life Organization is an organization dedicated to the betterment, protection and aid of animals and Laura Grosvenor has organized a fundraiser in order to provide all Fraser Valley Fire Departments with animal respirators.

Animal respirators are used by fire departments to help rescue pets from homes on fire. While humans can understand the dangers they face and make their way out of a home on fire, animals usually panic and hide. If they remain for any length of time in the home they often perish from smoke inhalation.

Respirators can be used by fire fighters to save pets’ lives.
