Branding and website design are the topics of discussion at the next two Art of Marketing presentations at the Kariton Art Gallery
Submitted.The Abbotsford Arts Council presents “Branding and the Art of Crafting a Professional Image” on October 16, 2014, and “Website Design Essentials: Strategies that Work” on October 23, 2014, the sixth and seventh of eight presentations in the 2014 Art of Marketing Speaker Series, sponsored by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce. Both sessions will be held at 6:30PM at the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique (2387 Ware Street, Abbotsford, B.C.) and presented by Filio Kondylis, arts professional and web designer.
“Branding and the Art of Crafting a Professional Image” will cover how to identify a unique position within one’s industry, visual communication consistency and customer service strategies. Attendees will learn how to ask relevant questions to discover their uniqueness and promote their image with consistency.
In “Website Design Essentials: Strategies that Work,” attendees will learn how to accentuate their professional status with a website, whether it’s a one page static website with their own domain name or a five page website. The importance of using a personal domain name, setting up a basic website, using fundamental design principles and optimizing websites for SEO and user experience will be discussed.
