Abbotsford Arts Council To Host Grant Writing Presentation

Submitted. The Abbotsford Arts Council presents “The Do’s and Don’ts of Grant Writing,” the first of eight presentations in the 2014 Art of Marketing Speaker Series, sponsored by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce. The featured speaker will be Heidi Turner, Abbotsford-based freelance writer, 2013 Arty Award recipient and B.C. Regional Director of the Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC). Heidi will discuss some of the vital things to do (and not do) when writing grant applications.

“The Dos and Don’ts of Grant Writing” will be held at 6:30PM on March 20, 2014 at the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique, located at 2387 Ware Street in Abbotsford. Pre-registration is $15 for Abbotsford Arts Council members and $25 for non-members and possible online at grantwritingabbotsford.eventbrite.ca or at the Kariton Art Gallery and Boutique.
