Our story begins on Christmas Eve when Clara and her brother Frank excitedly await the arrival of Godfather Dross. He always brings the most wonderful (and sometimes even magical) toys. This year they receive the gift of a wooden nutcracker. That night when everyone is asleep , the Nutcracker comes to life and saves Clara from the dreaded Mouse King. Many more adventures ensue including a battle between the Toy Soldiers and Mouse Army, a visit to the Snow Kingdom,home of the Snow Queen. and to the Home of the Sweets where the Sugar Plum Fairy lives.
Come join Abbotsford Children’s Theatre on this wonderful adventure. The Nutcracker is a family-friendly play, great for all ages 5 and up and show dates are Friday, December 11th at 7 pm and Saturday, December 12th at 1 pm. Tickets are available online from our website www.abbotsfordchildrenstheatre.org or at Tourism Abbotsford, The Reach or Jazz-Ma-Tazz. There may also be tickets available at the door.
