Abbotsford Duo To Take Vancouver Into The Wild

Into Wild Vancouver

Submitted. Abbotsford-born and raised Television Producer, Joel Reimer, was proud to announce his new television series “Into Wild Vancouver”. The series will be breaking ground in Canada’s television industry by appealing straight to its audience before approaching traditional network sponsors. “Into Wild Vancouver” launches its crowd-sourcing campaign today to find the funds necessary to produce the show’s pilot.

A former columnist with The Abbotsford Times, Joel left our fair city two years ago in pursuit of his career in television production. Seeing a desire by those living in the region of Greater Vancouver to know more about the wildlife in their own backyards, he recruited a team of local professionals to make it happen. Joining Joel is Abbotsford native actor, Jenn Kobelt, coming on as the pilot episodes co-host. Together, these two entertainment powerhouses want to bring you “Into Wild Vancouver”.

“We want the people of Greater Vancouver to decide whether or not they want to take a trip “Into Wild Vancouver.” it is our audience that will watch and learn about local wildlife every week. Vancouverites will be the ones taking their kids out to find these animals in real life, the ones who every day walk past our many parks and miss out on the natural beauty hiding right in plain sight.”- Joel Reimer (Producer).

This morning, the fundraising video for “Into Wild Vancouver” was released to the public. The campaign to raise $15,000 for the pilot’s production is underway on popular Canadian website, IndieGoGo. The people of Vancouver, and all those wanting to see our city’s wild side will have one month to make their voices heard on Indiegogo.com.
