Abbotsford’s student enrolment numbers have bounced back across the district from a few weeks ago.
Final numbers submitted to the Ministry at the end of last week reflected an increase of 8 students over what had been projected. Three weeks ago, the district was looking at a decrease of just over 120 students.
Much of this increase materialized in secondary schools.
Total official enrolment as of October 17th was 18,625 students (compared to 18,622 last year).
Student enrolment is the primary driver for funding received by the district.
