From Abbotsford Lacrosse. The Lacrosse season is underway and Abbotsford Lacrosse will be busy in April.
The association will be holding a bottle drive on Saturday, April 11th.
Time: 10am – 3pm
Location: Outdoor Lacrosse Box and/or the parking lot behind the Esso
The association will also be hosting a BBQ from 12 pm to 2 pm. Players will get to eat for free and parents/siblings will be by donation.
Background
The Box Lacrosse season runs from March through to mid June. Provincials (for PeeWee level and up) are held in early July in various provincial locations. Home games are held in the MSA Arena, and practices are at the outdoor box on Yale Court (see Location page for maps).
Practices are typically 1-2 times a week, dependant on the coach and division (age group). Games are once/twice per week, and may be played at home or away. Away games are played within the Lower Mainland. Tournaments are also held in various provincial districts, and may be attended on the teams’ decision.
