Abbotsford’s own Garth Webb selected as speaker for TEDxVancouver – the city’s biggest TEDx event

Since graduating from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, in 1977, Dr. Webb has practiced clinical optometry in Abbotsford for nearly 40 years.

As an active member of the optometry community in British Columbia, serving as the Chairman for the Board of Optometry in B.C., Dr. Webb’s involvement and knowledge in the world of vision has made him an innovator in vision science. He has become well known for his accomplishments in the product development of adaptive lens technology – namely researching and developing the Bionic Lens.

Dr. Webb has also recently been announced as one of the speakers for the upcoming TEDxVancouver. The event is being held on November 14, 2015 and will be the biggest TEDx event in Vancouver’s history.
