In an invitation sent out Friday, Jan 24 ACS says:

“Thank you so much for all your support throughout 2013. The work that ACS does to help people in need is absolutely impossible to accomplish without the support of our community partners, generous donors, dedicated volunteers and all those who call us every day with words of encouragement. You give us the motivation to continue being People Helping People.

“Finally after 9 long months, our Rezoning Application is coming to a Public Hearing on Monday, February 3rd (7 PM) at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium at 32315 South Fraser Way, next to City Hall. This meeting will determine whether or not the City of Abbotsford will approve our Rezoning Application for the Supportive Housing Project proposed for our property at 2408 Montvue Avenue. We need your support. Please consider attending the meeting.

“For 45 years ACS has helped people of all ages, helped people in crisis, and helped people feel like they have a place to belong. Your support has made that possible. Thank You. Homelessness is an issue in the City of Abbotsford – just like it is throughout the province. This Supportive Housing project will not solve the issue of homelessness, but it will provide an opportunity for 20 men who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to get their lives back on track and become healthy, contributing citizens of our society. Thank you for your support!

Regards,
Janna Dieleman
