Submitted. On Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 1:55 pm a young woman contacted the Abbotsford Police Department to report that she had been grabbed by a man who subsequently moved a short distance away and appeared to be exposing and touching himself. Both incidents took place in the 2400 block of Montrose Avenue.
APD Patrol officers interviewed the 18 year old victim and a witness and located a man matching the description still in the area. That man was arrested.
Amrik Singh Kular, a 43 year old man from Abbotsford, has now been charged with Sexual Assault and Committing an Indecent Act.
