On Thursday January 2, 2014 at approximately 3:45 pm., the Abbotsford Police Department responded to the report of an injured male having entered into a business in the 30100 block of Automall Drive in Abbotsford.
The male appeared to have suffered stab injuries and later died in hospital. He is identified as 31 year old, Matthew Gordon Campbell of Abbotsford. Mr. Campbell was known to police for his history relating to gang activity and indications at this point in the investigation suggest this was not a random incident.
