APD Arrest Clayton George Williscroft After Convenience Store Robbery

On Monday, June 24 at 4:15 am a man entered a convenience store in the 3000 block of Immel Street. The man was wearing a welding mask to cover his face and held a metal bar in his hand. He demanded cash from the store staff and he opened both cash registers. The man fled the scene on foot after obtaining a small amount of money.

Abbotsford Police Patrol Division, K9 and Forensic officers attended the scene and began investigating the robbery. The Major Crime Unit joined the effort and within days a suspect was identified.

On Friday, June 28, the Abbotsford Police arrested 32 year old Clayton George Williscroft of Abbotsford. He has been charged with Robbery and Wearing a Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence.
