Join Mayor Bruce Banman along with community leaders and agencies as they volunteer their time and services to provide less fortunate residents direct connection to services and programs that can help alleviate some of the worst aspects of poverty.

Background
The annual Abbotsford Connect is a community inspired, one-day service event where 30+
service providers, local businesses, community and provincial agencies and faith based
organizations deliver services and support for 300+ individuals at risk of, or experiencing
homelessness in Abbotsford.
All services will be offered in the same location, as in previous years, to allow the easy and fluid
access throughout the facility. Additionally, the event will provide an opportunity for those in
need to both receive a free compliment of clothing and hot meals in an inclusive, welcoming and
safe setting.
