BC Record Label Showcases Three On-The-Rise Bands April 22nd In Fraser Valley

Submitted. Mighty Speck Records is a community record label which features 15 BC artists from 9 BC cities. On Saturday April 22nd at Brothers in Abbotsford, three of those bands will strut their stuff: Port Coquitlam’s GAS COVERED PLANET (alt rock)pictured below, Surrey’s HEROKAH (R&B Soul Pop)pictured at right, and Victoria’s KARMA BROS (roots rock duo).

GAS COVERED PLANET (from Port Coquitlam): An alternative rock band with that unique northwestern rock sound that can only come from Vancouver and its inclement surroundings. More here: https://mightyspeckrecords.wordpress.com/gas-covered-planet/

KARMA BROS (from Victoria): Duo born out of a collaboration between two artists on the Mighty Speck Records roster. Their sound incorporates elements of roots-rock, blues, and even a little punk rock.
