Best Water, Worst Water Pressure

By June 17, 2014Abnor

Abbotsford has, once again, won the prize for the world’s best water, a prize it wins every year.

What is never mentioned in the brief snippets which news has become, is that the Clearbrook water company, which is privately owned and wins the awards every year, has done such a small amount of re-investment in its own business and infrastructure that the Abbotsford Fire Department has to spend taxpayers’ money putting extra pumper trucks on for any apartment fires in the Clearbrook area due to low pressure because of the leaks in the pipes which have never been repaired.

Hooray for people making money off of public utilities and public safety!
