Call For Artists For The Kariton Boutique Gift Shop

Submitted. The Abbotsford Arts Council announces a call for artists living in the Fraser Valley to submit work to be featured in the Kariton Art Gallery Boutique Gift Shop in 2015. Established in 2010, the Kariton Boutique Gift Shop is located in beautiful Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford and has become a hot spot for one-of-a-kind gifts and treasures made locally by professional and emerging artisans of all ages. It showcases original, handcrafted visual artwork in multiple media, such as jewelry, pottery, sculpture, woodwork, fibre-wearable items, paintings, and photography, as well as CDs and books by local musicians and writers, respectively. Accepted artists will be featured in the Kariton Boutique from January to December in 2015.

Submissions will be accepted in-person by appointment from November 5 – 9 at the Kariton Art Gallery (2387 Ware Street) in Abbotsford. All submissions will be juried.

Applications are available for download at abbotsfordartscouncil.org or at the Kariton Art Gallery, located at 2387 Ware Street in Abbotsford.
