Cards In Final Four

For the first time in their history the Abbotsford Cardinals have made it to the final four of the British Columbia Premier Baseball League (BCPBL) Championships.

Congratulations to the Nanaimo Pirates, Victoria Eagles, Abbotsford Cardinals and Vancouver Cannons for winning this weekends playoff series and advancing to the BCPBL Championship  to be hosted by the Abbotsford Cardinals at Delair Park, July 26-28.
On Saturday Reds RHP Curtis Taylor tossed a one-hit, 9 strikeout shutout in 4-0 Coquitlam win over Abbotsford.

The thrilling second game went scoreless until the 10th inning when Cardinals Jae Kim hit a double to knock in a run. Final score Cardinals 2 Coquitlam 0. RHP Emilio Foden threw 8 scoreless innings for the Cards striking out 10 and allowing just 4 hits and 0 walks.

Daniel Koo pitched the final 2 innings and got the win.
