Submitted. Join us Saturday, March 4 for Raiseberry, a fundraising event for Raspberry magazine. At 7:00 p.m., head over to the Reach Gallery Museum (32388 Veterans Way, Abbotsford) for an evening celebrating local arts and culture in the Fraser Valley.
Raiseberry will highlight the rich creativity currently blossoming throughout these communities, from music and food to visual art and writing. Maan Farms will have wine to sample, beer by Ravens Brewing will be available, and light refreshments will include cheese by Mt. Lehman Cheese Co. Local Art Battle painter Shannon Thiesen will be live-painting, and the resulting painting will be in our silent auction.
The silent auction includes exciting packages from Backyard Vineyards, Best Western, Boardwalk Cafe & Games, and a selection of other local businesses and artists. Proceeds will go toward operating costs of Raspberry and working toward the magazine’s goal of publishing in print.
Above all, Raiseberry and the folks behind Raspberry magazine and the Red Press Society want to celebrate the creative spirit of this community through a fun and diverse gala.
