It is with great excitement that Jelly Marketing announces the launch of the Langley Passport Wine Route program. The official kick off event happens in September with host Fred Lee and such VIP guests such as as Fiona Forbes from The Rush, VancouverIsAwesome.com, the Georgia Strait, etc.
The Langley Passport Wine Route takes you to seven beautiful wineries located in picturesque Langley, BC. At each winery you can get 7 stamps to be entered into a draw to win a fabulous prize package (hotel stays, crates of wine, helicopter flight etc.). Once getting all seven stamps one simply drops off the completed passport at the Holiday Inn or Best Western location in Langley.
This program is a passion project from Jelly Marketing’s principal Darian Kovacs: “I love that I live in Langley and I appreciate wine. I thought it’d be fun to combine the two for a interactive marketing experience that would be a win for the wineries, a win for Langley and a win for wine adventurers.” When surveyed over 50+ of the guests attending the media launch thought that there were only 1-2 wineries in Langley. “We want to educate the public of the hot bed of wineries and cultural and local experiences one can have right in their back yard. Here’s a chance to support local and have a great time without having to leave the Lower Mainland” Kovacs says.
You can pick up your passport at most key Langley locations (Holiday Inn, Best Western, Tourism Langley office) and all the wineries. You can also download and print the passport by donation to Langley Animal Protection Services (LAPS) at home through www.langleypassport.com.
There is a new draw every season of an amazing prize package along with social media contest when visitors use the hashtag #LangleyPassport in tweets and Instagram pictures.
