Coalmont Takes Stage At Clayburn Gourmet Gallery

By November 19, 2013Arts/Culture

Submitted. On November 23 from 8 to 10 PM, the Envision Coffee House Concert Series is proud to present Coalmont at Clayburn Gourmet Gallery (#320 – 3033 Immel Street) in Abbotsford.

In a nutshell, Nate and Stephanie met in 2005. It was the classic guy meets girl, guy likes girl, guy inquires of her availability, and guy is shut down. After four long lost years, they were reunited when they played a gig at a wedding. After a short while they became married themselves. They now write and perform together as “Coalmont,” and find inspiration in artistic acts such as Lady Antebellum, The Civil Wars, Johnny Cash & June Carter, Fleetwood Mac, Mumford & Sons, and many more.

Nowadays, you can find Nate & Stephanie brushing up on their accordion skills and playing shows whenever they get the chance. They recently released their debut EP entitled “Chronicles” in September 2012 and are busy writing new material. Stay tuned for more on this duo!
