Ray Farness Says: What’s Cult like is the way society worships professionalism. We elect these so called professionals with impeccable references and all sorts of degrees, put them on a pedestal and then try to tear them apart . What do they know about beating homelessness, and addiction, the struggle to get back on your feet and stay there. There are many people who have beaten addiction and homelessness and are in control of there lives. Why is it so hard to take their advice?. Well most will tell you Methadone and harm reduction does not work, both are like brick walls to any real recovery …If you’re a recovered person and have any thoughts please share and help stop the insanity…

Mike Archer Says: Can I ask why those opposed to harm reduction are so fiercely determined not to let anyone else have a chance at redemption through other means than the ones they successfully used or have known to work? The fact ‘most’ will tell us methadone and harm reduction doesn’t work doesn’t interest me in the least. Just because it doesn’t work for all, why must it be denied to those for whom it does work? I’m not trying to be confrontational. I’m honestly trying to figure out why people just refuse to let a proven method of keeping people alive and moving them towards whatever solution they are eventually going to find be made available to those who so desperately need it. Banman himself once said that, “Just because I disagree with your drinking doesn’t mean I believe you have to drink out of a dirty bottle.” What happened to that Banman?
