From The Heat. Abbotsford Heat General Manager Jay Feaster announced multiple transactions today. Recently acquired Defenceman Mark Cundari has been transfered to the Heat form the Peoria Rivermen by the Calgary Flames, while Forward Ryan Howse and Defenceman James Martin have been assigned to the Utah Grizzlies (ECHL).
Cundari was acquired yesterday from the St. Louis Blues as a part of a package moved in exchange for Defenceman Jay Bouwmeester. The 22-year-old is a two-time Memorial Cup Champion with the Windsor Spitfires (OHL) and participated in the 2013 AHL All-Star Classic in January for the Western Conference team.
