From City of Abbotsford. CP Rail and City crews will be reconstructing the rail crossing on Essendene Avenue, between West Railway Street and Gladys Avenue.
Beginning October 7, 2014, at 7:00 am, Essendene Avenue will be closed to through trafic 24 hours a day. There will be no public access through this portion of roadway during the construction period. Motorists are advised to plan an alternate route. Detour routes will be posted. Project completion is anticipated by October 9, 2014.
