Submitted. On Monday, June 16 at 11:40 am the Abbotsford Police Department received a 911 call reporting a two vehicle collision near the intersection of Marion and Campbell Roads. A white 1997 Chevrolet Lumina and a grey 2013 Mazda 3 crashed and the Lumina spun off the roadway and into a water filled ditch.
Abbotsford Fire Rescue personnel, BC Ambulance land and air crews and Abbotsford Police Patrol Division and Traffic Section officers arrived on scene and began assisting the injured in both vehicles. One of the occupants of the Mazda 3, a senior, was pronounced dead at scene.
