Submitted. This morning at 12:30 am, a blue Mercedes crashed in the 3100 block of Clearbrook Road. There were two occupants in the vehicle, a female who was pronounced dead at scene and a male who was transported to hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both individuals are Abbotsford residents in their 40’s.
The investigation into the single vehicle crash involves Patrol Division officers, Collision Reconstructionists, Forensic Identification members and Major Crime detectives. All contributing factors to the fatal collision are being considered.
Names will not be released at this time. We wish to offer our condolences to the family and friends of the woman killed in this tragic crash.
