Free Girls Learn‐to‐Play Hockey Spring Break Camp

From AFHA. The Abbotsford Female Hockey Association (AFHA) is offering five days of free instruction at a Hockey spring Break Camp from March 16 to 20.

‐ 5 days ‐ March 16th – 20th at A.R.C.

‐ 5:00 to 6:00 (arrive minimum 1 hour early for first day)
‐ Open to all girls age 5‐10 new to hockey, no experience required ‐ Cost is Free! Registration is required though, space is limited to register now. 

Description:

Come join us for a fun filled time learning the basics of hockey from our coaches and volunteers. This program is suitable for families with girls looking to try female hockey for the first time or with limited experience with it. Participants will be shown how to put on gear prior to the first ice time, after this coaches will work with the girls on basic skating and hockey skills in a fun non‐ competitive environment. Emphasis will be on fun creating an interest in the sport of female hockey and team sports in general.

Minimum equipment required:

Full hockey gear is preferred but the minimum required will be hockey helmet, skates and stick. Some gear may be available on loan for those that register early.
