From Abbotsford Airshow.Mikey McBryan and Scott Blue of the hugely popular docu-series Ice Pilots NWT are paying a visit to the 2013 Abbotsford International Airshow 9 and 10 August.
The visiting cast members and film crew, who are currently shooting its fifth season for History Television, intend to watch the 51st annual airshow and interact with fans and spectators during their two-day visit.
“Apart from the crowd of Ice Pilots fans that Mikey and Scott will likely draw to the airshow, we are quite excited about showcasing what the Abbotsford Airshow has to offer with two fellows who are equally enthusiastic about aviation – old and new,” said Jim Reith, Airshow President. “And this year we salute the RCAF, so what better way then to have two well-known Canadians in attendance who understand and appreciate our nation’s military aviation history and contributions world-wide.”
During the airshow, Mikey and Scott will get involved in the Kids Zone sponsored by McDonald’s, a new attraction to the 2013 airshow, by sacrificing themselves in a Dunk Tank all in support of a local charity.
Due to limited aircraft availability and aircrew demands, Buffalo Airways will not be able to support the visit with an aircraft from the airline fleet.
