Dear Editor. How utterly distasteful and misleading I find Mayor Banman’s comments regarding the taxpayers not wanting a raise in taxes, thus not wanting an “Animal Shelter”.
And yet, when his constituents overwhelmingly turned out against the “Y”, he never listened.
How hypocritical is that?
I would indeed support a shelter in this City, and personally commend Ms. Davies for her continued fight to help the animals.
I would also like to thank her for the petition she organized which helped get the three dog by-law passed.
Mayor Banman, your selective hearing annoys me and please listen to this statement, although I voted for you in the last election, “Never Again”.
