Readers will remember Abbotsford’s Katie Powell for a variety of things but staying put isn’t one of them.
Now Katie is hoping to land her dream job with Jauntaroo, a worldwide travel company matches travelers with global vacation destinations.
Jaunteroo has just begun the search for what they refer to as their ‘Chief World Explorer’ … “Who will travel the globe for one year visiting destinations, sharing experiences and creating content for Jauntaroo while earning a salary of $100,000.00!”
Katie is asking for everyone’s support in her quest for the dream job by visiting her application page, watching her video and liking it.
Abbotsford Today readers first ran into Katie when we published her Barkerville Blog back in 2010.
She then helped us start our Travelogue section by sharing her travels in the ‘Get Rid of Me’ travel contest.
Most recently she gave her brother Mitch a part of liver liver and has been actively involved in raising awareness for transplants in Canada through her LiverGiverKatie’Tweets.
