The home team Mariners came out with a quick shutout inning behind some great pitching from Connor Friesen. The Cardinals came back however, with 3 runs in the second to make it a 3-2 game. Both teams scored 4 in both the third and fourth inning setting up a great 5th with the Cardinals ahead by 1. Brady Fehlauer took the mound in the top half of the inning and got a quick 3 outs, keeping the Mariners within reach down by 1.

Aiden Koetsier took to the mound for the Cardinals, and he was throwing hard. Levi Kropp however, was able to get a walk, and after stealing second and third was in a position to tie the game up. His opportunity came as he was able to use his speed to steal home. That’s all the Mariners could manage with the game ending in an 11-11 tie.
First year lefty Hayden Pickering lead the way for the Mariners as he went 3 for 3 with a triple and two doubles earning him the Pita Pit Player of the Game.
