From Pacific Western Athletic Association (PACWEST BC) Leigh Goossen, the Bearcat Athletics 3rd-year middle, made a big impact in both Bearcat matches this past weekend.
On Friday night Leigh had a well-rounded game, leading the Cats to victory with 11 kills, four blocks, and three aces while being an important part of the passing game with a 2.4 passing average.
On Saturday ‘Goose’ had another great game contributing seven kills, three blocks, an ace, and four digs while again passing a 2.4 in the Bearcats 3-0 win.
Leigh played a big role in the two road wins and the Bearcats remain undefeated this semester with a record of 8-0.
