Update To Missing Person – Gurnam Singh

This morning a detective from the Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department made contact with Gurnam Singh. It was determined that Singh was staying with an acquaintance in Calgary. We wish to thank all of those who assisted with this missing person investigation.

From April 30,2013. On Monday, April 29 at 8:45 am, 30 year old Gurnam Singh from India was reported missing by his work sponsor. The prior evening at 9:30 pm SINGH left a temple in the 30600 block of Blueridge Drive and went for a walk. He didn’t return. SINGH had been in Canada working at that temple since November 2012. He was scheduled to return to India on a flight departing at 1:20 pm yesterday. He did not make the flight.

Gurnam Singh is 5’8” tall and weighs 180 pounds (photo attached). He has black hair, a short black beard, brown eyes and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black turban, black jacket, white shirt and white pants. SINGH does not have a vehicle or a driver’s license. According to his sponsor SINGH kept to himself and does not have family or friends in Canada.
