Submitted.  The Tradex in Abbotsford was transformed into every motorcycle lover’s dream this past weekend, drawing over 31,000 bike enthusiasts to Tradex from January 20th to 22.

Held at the Tradex, Trade and Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford, the three-day manufacturers’ showcase featured hundreds of new motorcycles, scooters, ATV’s and performances ranging from safety demonstrations to jaw-dropping bike and ATV stunts.

“This was a fantastic year”, says Show Manager Laurie Paetz “The consumers that attend the Vancouver Show are so enthusiastic and passionate, it is such an anticipated event in the Fraser Valley with everyone celebrating the new models. For me there is nothing better than when the sun comes out and all I hear is the sound of motorcycles coming and going from the show all day long!”

Event highlights included: Trial demonstrations by Jordan Szoke along with his 5-year-old son Wolfgang.  Stunt riders Craig Latimer, Ryan Hawco and “Wild” Bill Hitchon performed motorcycle and ATV stunts in the outdoor feature area for guests. The Pacific Coast Mini Road Racing Association wowed guests with racing both on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Yamaha Riding Academy were back exclusively at the Show, where kids eagerly signed up to learn to ride, and Clinton Smout educated 100’s of people with safe riding tips.
