Peewee A’s Rally Hard But Fall Short In Noel Rehaume Tournament

From AAHA. After going 2-1 in round robin play at the Noel Rehaume Tournament in Ridge Meadows this weekend the Peewee A’s sat in fourth place heading into the semis. Up first for the Angels was the undefeated tournament hosts Ridge Meadows.

The Angels came out strong and mercied the Royals in 5 innings by a score of 18-3. With every single player scoring a run the Angels proved no match for Ridge Meadows. Heading into the final Abbotsford faced Chilliwack.

Abbotsford trailed Chilliwack until the 6th inning when the team scored five runs on a two out rally. It was a tie game heading into the 7th inning. Chilliwack was up first and scored 2.

Abbotsford battled hard but came up short losing to Chilliwack 14-12 giving them a second place finish. Next game for the Peewee A’s is Monday night at Crossley where they will again face off with Chilliwack in league play.
