Privilege Clothing – For The Local Fashion Addict

By March 2, 2015Fashion

By Bailey Stanworth. You know that woman you just can’t help but envy. The one you see everyday who always looks fabulous wearing the latest trends. The one whose closet you are going crazy lusting after.

Feeding Their Closets With Style

She’s the mom wearing the new Michael Kors poncho as she drops her kids off at school. The girl wandering grocery aisles with her cart-stopping Rebecca Minkoff bag or even your friend with a collection of designer denim so amazing it makes you drool. Doesn’t it make you wonder though … how in the world are these stylish ladies feeding their closets when they live in the suburbs?

They must be shopping downtown or online because fashion like this just doesn’t exist in the Fraser Valley. Yet, instead of wasting money on gas to commute downtown or paying hefty shipping charges for an online order that takes weeks to arrive, these style icons we not-so-secretly envy are shopping a lot closer than you think.

Bringing Life To The Closets Of Suburbia

Donni Rae, a Langley resident and fashion enthusiast, had always found it difficult to satisfy her craving for style in such an outlying area.

Surrounded by shopping malls full of your typical department stores, the Fraser Valley was less than accommodating to the local fashion addict.

Wanting more than the dull, monotonous clothing she found hanging rack upon rack, Donni became inspired to utilize her passion for style and bring some life to the closets of suburbia.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in business Donni set out to create a fashion house that would bring downtown style for both men and women to smaller, outlying communities.

Privilege Clothing first opened it’s doors to fashion enthusiasts in 2007. The boutique setting and chic atmosphere of the store created an instant buzz amongst locals. Carrying a wide variety of brands (Michael Kors, 7 For All Mankind, Free People, J Brand, Diesel, BCBGeneration, Hugo Boss, G-Star, Lacoste) Privilege quickly became the ‘go-to’ for both men and women.

The Envy Of Every Woman

Five years, two boutiques, an e-commerce store and a rapidly growing company later many of the local trendsetters, urban moms and stylish men alike have Donni to thank for bringing them a fashionable, convenient closet.

Today Privilege continues to bring downtown fashions to suburban areas.

Our team of fashion forward girls is committed to tailoring each and every experience to fit our guests.
