Rip Van Finn closes the 2014 Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series with high energy fiddle, bagpipes and percussion

Submitted. On September 13 from 6PM to 8PM, the Envision Financial Concert in the Park Series is proud to present Rip Van Finn at the Kariton Art Gallery stage in Mill Lake Park (2387 Ware Street) in Abbotsford.

Rip Van Finn is an indie-pop-Celtic-folk-rock trio that consists of a wicked blend of fiddle, bagpipes, keyboards and percussion. Featured in the trio is fiddler Mike Sanyshyn, who was named the BC provincial fiddle champion four times. He is joined by bagpiper and keyboardist Joseph McDonald. Joseph is also the principal vocalist and songwriter for the band. Craig McGregor, a noted Vancouver session player, rounds out the trio on guitar.
