Submitted. On Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11:00 am, a 51 year old man was sleeping on some grass next to a picnic area in a northern section of Mill Lake Park. The man was awakened by the sound of something or someone rummaging through his belongings. He confronted two young males who were in the process of taking his wallet, identification, cash, prescription medication and a portable electronic device. One of the suspects struck the victim in the neck during the altercation. Both of the young men fled along the foot paths toward Gladwin Road.
The suspect descriptions are as follows:
#1 – Caucasian, 22 years, 5’8” tall, 165 pounds,
Short, dark brown hair, clean cut
Dark coloured t-shirt, black and white plaid shorts
#2 – Caucasian, 19 or 20 years, 5’8” tall, 170 pounds,
Dirty blonde hair (longer than suspect #1)
Light coloured shirt with picture on front, blue jeans
