On Thursday, May 16 the Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit arrested 22 year old Sean Joshua Leblanc for Possession of Child Pornography, Importing/Distributing Child Pornography and Luring a Person under the Age of 16. These charges were the culmination of an investigation that began in January 2013.
Although Leblanc is an Abbotsford resident, the nature of the offences and the use of the internet greatly increase the potentials and scope of this continuing investigation. Detectives are interested in speaking with anyone with information about these charges. In addition, we cannot preclude the possibility of other victims; therefore we are encouraging anyone with information about other incidents and offences to come forward as well.
