Second PechaKucha Night At The Reach

By November 10, 2013Life

Submitted. Calling all artists, professors, teachers, travelers, photographers, students and presenters of all kinds, The Reach Gallery Museum is looking for presenters for Abbotsford’s second PechaKucha night on December 5, 2013 at 7pm.

Patrick Oystryk presents at PechaKucha at The Reach on August 22, 2013.

PechaKucha nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps – just about anything really – in the PechaKucha 20×20 format. PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation system where speakers show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and presenters talk along to the images.

Presentations can be about anything, from new research to interesting travel experiences, from urban planning to your latest creative work, and presenters can be of any age, background or experience level. All we ask is that it’s fun, engaging and maybe even unexpected. Some presentations are funny, some are personal, but all are very different. It’s the ‘box of chocolates’ that makes it fun!

If you would like to present, please contact Gabriel Kirkley at 604 864 8087 x 117 or by email at gkirkley@thereach.ca by November 25, 2013.

PechaKucha is devised and shared by Klein Dytham architecture.
