Sir Ken Robinson To Present At The Learning Revolution In Abbotsford January 13

By Tanis Sullivan.  The number one TED Talks speaker and internationally acclaimed expert on education reform, Sir Ken Robinson is coming to the Greater Vancouver area for the first time to inspire educators, business leaders and community members to rethink education for the 21st century during the Learning Revolution Abbotsford event on January 13, 2017.

Sir Ken Robinson is an internationally recognized authority on creativity and innovation in education and business, as well as a renowned author, speaker and advisor to educators, government bodies and arts organizations all over the world. His famous TED Talks speech, “Do Schools Kill Creativity?” is the most watched TED Talk of all time, viewed online over 40 million times and seen by an estimated 350 million people in 160 countries.

Educators, business leaders and community members are invited to attend this exclusive opportunity to hear from this distinguished expert on education reform. The Learning Revolution will take place during two special presentations designed to inspire and empower attendees to re-imagine how we educate and prepare students for the complex demands of the 21st century.

The public event will take place during a dinner presentation at the Quality Hotel Event Centre in Abbotsford on January 13. Tickets are $150 each, or $800 for a table of eight and space is limited. An educators’ afternoon event will take place earlier in the day and is expected to attract approximately 1,200 educators from both public and independent schools throughout BC. Both events will offer pre-event meet and greet opportunities with Sir Ken Robinson for select guests, as well as a question and answer session following his presentation.

The Learning Revolution is being hosted by the Abbotsford Christian School, a leading elementary and secondary school with a strong vision for the future of education around the province. ACS currently offers 21st century learning and project based learning programs for students as well as a project based learning residency for both independent and public school teachers.
