Opening its doors as Tha Realm Dance Studio in January of 2013, Tha Realm is the realized dream of Owner, Dancer and Instructor Nicci. A driving force mission at Tha Realm is to have a Studio dedicated to Independent Artists of Dance and World Dance, rooted in Bellydance. Driven by Nicci’s desire for a community based “Co-op” feel through affordable and accessible studio rentals for dancers and instructors looking for additional or new rehearsal or instructional space.
Tha Realm’s funky building has been a dance studio in Abbotsford for 20 + years, thus this building’s energy is full of dance spirit! Nicci hopes to continue the legacy of this amazing building by providing a space dedicated to Independent Artists, Instruction and World Dance right here in the Fraser Valley; where dances of Tribes, Cultural Folklore and History meet the modern minds and dances of today.
Tha Realm prides itself on being an open, inviting and creative space where all forms of dance art are welcome and community bonds are cultivated. Nicci invites you to come down and visit the space, try a class on us or start sharing your dance story with us.
