The Arts: Community Choir Expands, Calling For Tenors And Basses

Submitted. Following its successful Christmas performances, Valley Festival Singers, Abbotsford’s community choir, is pleased to announce it is expanding! If you are a tenor or bass and can read music, come find a friendly musical home with this talented performing choir.

Established over thirty years ago, Valley Festival Singers is an Abbotsford-based choir every community would be proud to claim as its own. Members span generations, joining to sing a repertoire ranging from large classical works, such as Handel’s Messiah, to popular Broadway tunes. The coming season will see the choir perform the charming and popular Liebeslieder Waltzes by Brahms along with other songs of love to complete the program. Valley Festival Singers rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Clearbrook MB Church.
