Special October 15 performance of The Return of The Half Monty dedicated to supporting community arts initiatives
Submitted. The Abbotsford Arts Council is teaming up with Fraser Valley Stage to promote an exclusive performance of the British pub night/comedy variety show, the Return of The Half Monty, to be held on October 15, 2014, at the Community Arts Addition (Abbotsford Arts Centre, 2329 Crescent Way, Abbotsford, B.C.). Half of the October 15 show ticket sales will be dedicated to supporting local artists, arts and culture groups, and the many community initiatives of the Abbotsford Arts Council.
The Return of the Half Monty is a comedy variety show in the style of Monty Python, SNL, Air Farce, and The Two Ronnies. Comedy skits and music will be performed by the Half Monty troupe in a pub-like atmosphere. This show is not recommended for audiences under 19 years of age.
Doors open at 7:00PM, and the show begins at 8:00PM. Tickets for the October 15 show are $20 and can only be purchased through the Abbotsford Arts Council at abbotsfordartscouncil.eventbrite.ca or at the Kariton Art Gallery, located at 2387 Ware Street in Abbotsford, B.C. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, 12-5PM, and Saturday & Sunday, 9:30AM-4:30PM (Closed Mondays and October 12 & 13 for Thanksgiving).
