Submitted. On May 26, 2014, 62 year old Timothy Gregg Bachman of Abbotsford was charged with Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference and Invitation to Sexual Touching. These charges are the result of an extensive investigation conducted by the Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department.
The alleged offences took place in the 1990’s and there is a court imposed publication ban in place to protect the identity of the victim.
Bachman has been released on court conditions that forbid contact with persons under the age of 16 years and prevent his attendance at any public park, school ground, daycare center, swimming pool, playground, skating rink, community center where persons under the age of 16 might reasonably be present.
Bachman was found not guilty on charges of sexual assault, touching a young person for a sexual purpose and sexual interference of a young person under 14 back in 2013.
