Submitted. Tina Robertson of Abbotsford is one of the recipients of the 2014 B.C. Child Care Awards of Excellence announced Abbotsford-Mission MLA Simon Gibson.
Ms. Robertson is one of 14 people across British Columbia to be recognized for this award. Tina was recognized under the Leadership and Emerging Leader category. She operates Tina’s Daycare and is also a part-time instructor of early childhood education at Sprott Shaw College in Abbotsford.
Well known in the child care community, Tina has won the Abbotsford A-List Award for favourite childcare centre three years in a row. In addition, she won a Business Excellence Award through the Chamber of Commerce and has been nominated by parents two years in a row.
“Tina not only stands out in her own community, she also makes Abbotsford stand out as a caring community,” said Gibson.
