Two Break and Enters at Seniors Complex

By December 24, 2013Crime

Submitted. Yesterday afternoon at 4:00 pm a man attended a seniors building complex in the 33000 block of Mill Lake Road. The man contacted a resident via the intercom system and presented himself as a delivery man.

When the resident attended the lobby, there was nobody there and no parcel had been delivered. Later, two suites were determined to have been broken into. An inventory of the stolen property is still being prepared. Witnesses observed a Caucasian man in his 40’s in the complex around the time of the suspicious occurrence and the break and enters.

He is described as being approximately 6’0” tall with a heavy build. He was clean-shaven with bushy brown hair. He was seen leaving the area in a red pick-up truck with a female driver.

Residents of condominium and apartment complexes are reminded not to allow entry to any unknown persons via the intercom systems and to ensure doors are properly secured after entry and exit. Criminals are continuing their “work” through the holiday season.
