Initial Report: In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 3, a suspect broke into two Abbotsford homes while the families inside were asleep. In both cases, the suspect gained entry via an unlocked ground floor window. The two break and enter incidents took place within a short time of each other and both targeted homes located in the Gladwin Road area south of Downes Road. A woman’s purse and contents were taken in the second break in.

Residents are reminded to lock their doors and windows. In addition, people should contact the Abbotsford Police if they observe any suspicious activity or suspicious persons in their neighbourhoods or near their homes.
