A five-and-a-half minute video of the Speaking Up With Abbotsford Homeless Rally held at Abbotsford City Hall at noon on Monday, February 24th has been posted on Abbotsford Today.

As of Tuesday, over 620 people had signed the ‘Voices Of Dignity’ canvas with some 573 of those signatures coming during the rally.
The rally was organized after Mayor Banman sided with the minority of Abbotsford Council in turning down $15.3 million in funding from the provincial government to build the smallest low-barrier homeless shelter in the history of the province.
